*** A Los Angeles judge said Monday he can’t suspend Michael Jackson’s personal MD, Conrad Murray while he waits trial on a charge connected to the King of Pop’s death last June 25th.
Murray, whose been charged with involuntary manslaughter’s admitted he administered the anesthesia propofol to Jackson to help him sleep, but hasn’t admitted any wrongdoing.
LA Superior Court Judge Michael E. Pastor denied the California state medical board’s request that Murray’s license to practice medicine be suspended. Murray and Jackson’s parents, Joe and Katherine were at Monday’s hearing.
*** AND*** Howard Weitzman, a lawyer for Michael Jackson’s estate’s calling Joe Jackson’s claims his wife could’ve prevented his death “preposterous.”
Joe, told Britain’s News of the World he wanted Katherine, his wife of 60 years, to “step in” and help get their son into rehab to deal with an addiction to prescription drugs, but she refused out of respect for his privacy.
Jackson, 50, died last June 25 of a propofol overdose.
*** AND*** Chris Tucker accepted an award on behalf of Michael Jackson Monday night at the Apollo Theater’s annual spring benefit concert in New York. The pair were good buddies before Jackson’s death last June 25. Jaimee Foxx hosted the event which also honoured Aretha Franklin, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, and featured a tribute to Jackson.

*** The cause of death of Diff’rent Strokes star Gary Coleman’s been listed as a fall, with chronic renal failure as a contributing factor. The document, released Monday categorized the 42-year-old actor’s May 28 death as an accident, was made public Monday.
Coleman underwent 4 hours of dialysis treatment hours before he hit his head, which lead to a brain hemorrhage.
Funeral plans for Coleman are still incomplete at this time while Coleman’s ex-wife and former manager battle over who has control of Coleman’s estate.
*** AND*** A Utah judge on Monday ordered Gary Coleman’s remains be cremated by Wednesday afternoon, so Coleman’s former girlfriend and manager, Anna Gray has enough time to travel from Oregon to Utah to see his body.
Coleman’s ashes and property will be securely stored until an estate executor’s named.
Coleman’s ex-wife, Shannon Price, and his former girlfriend-manager, Anna Gray, both claim they’re the lawful administrators of his estate.
Gray’s named in a 2005 will, and the judge delayed Coleman’s cremation so Gray could travel to Utah from Portland, Ore., and see his body before it’s cremated.

*** Miss Universe Canada Pageant officials booted 21 yr. old Sophie Froment from the competition Saturday after they were told she appeared in TV commercials for an extramarital dating website Ashley Madison.com. The ads never ran in Canada because they were rejected by the TTC’s advertising review committee for not meeting community standards but aired in the US.
The Beauties of Canada website, which produces the Miss Universe Canada pageant said Froment got the hook cuz she made some career choices that aren’t compatible with the image of women their organization tries to promote which disqualified her from representing Canada at the 2010 Miss Universe Pageant. *** AND *** Chidi Uzomah Jr., a special forces reserve for the U.S. Army, accused of harassing “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest’s been sentenced to 2 years in prison on a felony count of stalking and 2 misdemeanor counts of violating a court order in November after he pulled out a knife and threatened staff at Seacrest’s Los Angeles office.
Uzomah violated a restraining order issued in a previous case after he admitted to attacking one of Seacrest’s bodyguards.
The 25 yr. old soldier pleaded not guilty to the charges at a hearing in Los Angeles on November 3; he was arraigned again in March, and pleaded no contest to felony stalking after the case was moved to a different court. Seacrest was awarded a civil restraining order.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge dismissed 2 other misdemeanor counts in exchange the plea.
Uzomah was handed the maximum sentence for the remaining charge on Monday and will serve the term at a California state prison.

*** South Dakota’s joined several other states and the U.S. government in holding auctions for wild animal parts found or confiscated by wildlife officers. *** 2 Kalamazoo, Michigan people were arrested after a fight that started as an argument about the accuracy of a Wendy’s order and ended up in a food fight. Police responded to a report about a loud disturbance and found food items scattered on the ground near a Wendy’s drive-through. Witnesses told police the fight started when 4 customers in a vehicle began arguing with an employee through the drive-through window about the accuracy of their order. The argument became heated and the occupants of the car began throwing the food at the employee, who in turn threw the items back at the car. 2 of the customers then came into the store and began physically fighting with workers. They were arrested and charged with assault and excessive noise.
*** A Florida teacher’s lawsuit against her old school says she was fired because administrators found out her baby was conceived before her wedding. Jarretta Hamilton, a former 4th-grade teacher at Southland Christian School in St. Cloud, said she approached administrators in April 2009, shortly after her wedding to tell them she was pregnant and request maternity leave for the coming fall. Hamilton told administrators the baby was conceived about 3 weeks before the wedding, and she was fired 1 week later without being allowed to finish the school year.

*** Customers and staff were shocked when a deer crashed through a large window at Applebee’s restaurant in Batavia, New York just after 7 p.m. Sunday and ran around the establishment, leaving a trail of broken glass, before being led out the front door. No one was injured.
*** 600 people are riding in this year’s 150th anniversary of the old Pony Express mail service ride which runs from Sacramento to St. Joseph, Mo. Organizers at the Callao, Utah, station, one of 165 stations on the route said this year’s ride’s been increased from the traditional 10 days to 20 days to allow for extra celebrations. Riders who volunteer with the association carry $5 commemorative letters-the same price paid in 1860. The Pony Express ran from April 1860 to October 1861.
*** Connecticut State Police believe a man on drugs mistook a home for a bed and breakfast and went fell asleep in a bedroom. A Higganum couple told cops they were with relatives in their home when a family member went inside and found a credit card on the stairs, and Walker Bruce, 45, asleep in a bedroom. Bruce told them he’d mistaken the house for a bed and breakfast and left his credit card on the stairs as payment. Bruce was charged with 3rd-degree burglary and taken to hospital for examination.

*** The case against Neal Horsley, the man accused of threatening Elton John’s life’s been dropped just hours before his trial was due to begin. Horsley was arrested in March and charged with making terrorist threats, criminal defamation and using the internet to disseminate threats after he posted a spiteful rant about the singer on Youtube.
He was held in Fulton County jail in Atlanta, Georgia ahead of his trial, which was due to start on Monday, but the court appointment was cancelled after the judge dismissed the case against Horsley because his actions didn’t warrant criminal charges.
Horsley was outraged when Sir Elton said Jesus Christ was gay in a Parade magazine interview in February, and he wrote an angry online response, entitled ‘Why Elton John Must Die.’
A viral video, which appeared on YouTube also featured footage of Horsley holding an ‘Elton John Must Die‘ sign outside the star’s home in Atlanta, Georgia.

*** Katy Perry denies she’s fallen out with Lady Gaga after slamming blasphemous entertainers in a Twitter rant. Perry was thought to have a shot at Gaga’s controversial, new “Alejandro” video last week when she tweeted, “Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke.”
The video shows Gaga, dressed in a latex nuns’ outfit, suggestively swallowing a string of rosary beads and simulating sex with a group of scantily-clad male dancers, wearing only her underwear.

Dean had many hits, including his benchmark ’61 song,”Big Bad John” and went into business with his famous Jimmy Dean sausages. He recently was voted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and will be posthumously inducted later this year. Funeral services are pending.

*** A Los Angeles judge said Monday he can’t suspend Michael Jackson’s personal MD, Conrad Murray while he waits trial on a charge connected to the King of Pop’s death last June 25th.
Murray, whose been charged with involuntary manslaughter’s admitted he administered the anesthesia propofol to Jackson to help him sleep, but hasn’t admitted any wrongdoing.
LA Superior Court Judge Michael E. Pastor denied the California state medical board’s request that Murray’s license to practice medicine be suspended. Murray and Jackson’s parents, Joe and Katherine were at Monday’s hearing.

Joe, told Britain’s News of the World he wanted Katherine, his wife of 60 years, to “step in” and help get their son into rehab to deal with an addiction to prescription drugs, but she refused out of respect for his privacy.
Jackson, 50, died last June 25 of a propofol overdose.

*** The case against Neal Horsley, the man accused of threatening Elton John’s life’s been dropped just hours before his trial was due to begin. Horsley was arrested in March and charged with making terrorist threats, criminal defamation and using the internet to disseminate threats after he posted a spiteful rant about the singer on Youtube.
He was held in Fulton County jail in Atlanta, Georgia ahead of his trial, which was due to start on Monday, but the court appointment was cancelled after the judge dismissed the case against Horsley because his actions didn’t warrant criminal charges.
Horsley was outraged when Sir Elton said Jesus Christ was gay in a Parade magazine interview in February, and he wrote an angry online response, entitled ‘Why Elton John Must Die.’
A viral video, which appeared on YouTube also featured footage of Horsley holding an ‘Elton John Must Die‘ sign outside the star’s home in Atlanta, Georgia.

*** GARY COLEMAN UPDATES***
*** The cause of death of Diff’rent Strokes star Gary Coleman’s been listed as a fall, with chronic renal failure as a contributing factor. The document, released Monday categorized the 42-year-old actor’s May 28 death as an accident, was made public Monday.
Coleman underwent 4 hours of dialysis treatment hours before he hit his head, which lead to a brain hemorrhage.
Funeral plans for Coleman are still incomplete at this time while Coleman’s ex-wife and former manager battle over who has control of Coleman’s estate.
*** AND*** A Utah judge on Monday ordered Gary Coleman’s remains be cremated by Wednesday afternoon, so Coleman’s former girlfriend and manager, Anna Gray has enough time to travel from Oregon to Utah to see his body.
Coleman’s ashes and property will be securely stored until an estate executor’s named.
Coleman’s ex-wife, Shannon Price, and his former girlfriend-manager, Anna Gray, both claim they’re the lawful administrators of his estate.
Gray’s named in a 2005 will, and the judge delayed Coleman’s cremation so Gray could travel to Utah from Portland, Ore., and see his body before it’s cremated.

*** Chidi Uzomah Jr., a special forces reserve for the U.S. Army, accused of harassing “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest’s been sentenced to 2 years in prison on a felony count of stalking and 2 misdemeanor counts of violating a court order in November after he pulled out a knife and threatened staff at Seacrest’s Los Angeles office.
Uzomah violated a restraining order issued in a previous case after he admitted to attacking one of Seacrest’s bodyguards.
The 25 yr. old soldier pleaded not guilty to the charges at a hearing in Los Angeles on November 3; he was arraigned again in March, and pleaded no contest to felony stalking after the case was moved to a different court. Seacrest was awarded a civil restraining order.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge dismissed 2 other misdemeanor counts in exchange the plea.
Uzomah was handed the maximum sentence for the remaining charge on Monday and will serve the term at a California state prison.
