He doesn’t surprise me one bit.

Tiger Woods shot a 68 Thursday, the lowest score evuh in the 1st round of his 15 Masters tournament.

Despite aerial heckling from some knob who flew a plane with a sign poking fun at his Buddhism beliefs and sex scandal, the world’s greatest golfer played on and is just 2 shots behind the leader, Fred Couples.

It won’t surprise me one bit if Tiger wins this tournament… he’s hungry and has A LOT to prove to the world… that he can still be loved again for his prowess on the course as much as he was despised for his prowess with his countless mistresses during his sex scandal.

He’s been in hiding since November… reconciling with his wife and 2 young kids…going to rehab and trying to refocus on what it pure and what is right.

He screwed up big time but like I said at the beginning of the scandal, once he’s back to winning the big tournaments, the veil of darkness will lift…and the sun will shine once again on his ass.

More than anything, he’s probably more game than ever…this whole scandal’s been a rude awakening for him and perhaps was the only thing that became his true wake-up call.

My belief… he’s bound for greatness more than ever… he’ll overcome the critics, the skeptics, the naysayers, the pessimists and the doubters…cuz once your intentions are pure and you’ve worked out your demons and settled your debts with your loved ones, anything can happen.

If Tiger’s truly taken ownership of his errant ways and has come to terms with the damage he’s done to wife and family, then the true Buddhist way will work for him.

In Buddhism, you don’t find the path …the path finds you…looks like the journey’s just begun for him !

Former astronaut and 2nd dude evuh on the moon, Buzz Aldrin got the boot Tuesday night on Dancing With The Stars.

The 80 yr. old icon and God Bless him, got this week’s lowest score from the judging panel with a measly 13 points for his waltz with partner Ashly Costa.

You’ve got to hand it to him…he had fun…gave it his best shot but just couldn’t come close to the bar to match or better the dancing skills of the other competitors who could be his grandchildren…in some cases, great-grandchildren.

Buzz was entertaining to watch… very stiff, very stilted and so not graceful but he had balls to do what he did and he deserves endless kudos.

But, man… for 80 yrs. old, the dude looks great…healthy and happy !

Next off- Kate Gosselin… I’m surprised she’s lasted a slong as she has.

What gets me is she looks surprised when the judges slam her after her performances.

She’s far from even being close to looking seamless…unlike Nicole Scherzinger,w hose going to win the coveted ball trophy.

Kate’s also entertaining to watch… I think it’s very fitting she’s finally getting really put in her place and humbled cuz she’s had this coming for a long time.

Looks to me when she dances like she’s got something up her butt…kinds like the way she appeared on camera during her TV show… maybe now we know why Jon left !

Hmmm… this is interesting.

In today’s harada-data and killer show prep, a new Stanford University study sez the secret to losing weight isn’t how strictly you stick to a diet, but it’s actually down to your genes.

In other words, some are born to be thinner than others.

Makes sense… researchers found some women are more successful at losing weight than others becuz of their genetic make-up if they follow diets that match their genotype, or genetic make-up.

The bottom line’s how long we live’s strongly determined by what we eat and how much or little we exercise.

It comes down to “garbage in-garbage out.”

Most diets fail…why ?

Cuz most of us don’t change the way we think…many are emotional eaters or we’re lazy cuz we don’t cook smarter and healthier or choose foods that can help us burn fat.

Food’s strongly associated with emotions and when we’re upset, angry, depressed, we tend to stray towards the fattening foods…mostly high in sugar and fat.

When it comes to emotional eating, you not only have to change the way you think but the way you react when you want to eat to comfort yourself.

Working out…taking up a sport…exercising’s such an incredible way to beat depression…vent anger…it’s the fountain of youth.

Not smoking, doing drugs and drinking moderately or little at all are other ways to keep off weight and extend your lifespan.

I’m usually pretty good at watching what I eat but I “slip” from time to time and eat things I shouldn’t…especially with my food sensitivities and allergies.

It’s a curse but a blessing, too cuz the limits I have on my food choices actually keeps me trim…going to the gym regularly also keeps me fit, too, so, that, combined with some great Asian genes keeps me looking much younger than what I really am.

So, in the end…it comes down to discipline to eat properly and to keep your weight down… afterall, you don’t want to go to great lengths to end up with great widths !

The rants of 7 yr. old King Curtis, who stars in the US version of ‘Wife Swap,’ ‘s becoming a big hit on YouTube.

One of the clips, from Season II of the show shows him screaming at his temporary health fanatic mother Joy Brown, after she refuses him bacon.

Brown moved in with Curtis’ 40-year-old dad Cliff Holland in North Carolina, swearing to impose a fitness regime.

In one clip, Curtis shouts: “I want my bacon. Bacon is good for me.” Curtis’ statement’s become so popular, T-shirts with the slogan “Bacon is good for me” have surfaced.

I can’t believe this kid’s gotten away with so much so far for so long and no one’s put an end to his tyrannical reign…at 7 years old !

WTF up with that ?!

What 7 year old kids runs a house and what parents allow a kid to run roughshod over them ?!

Sorry- kids, like pets (especially dogs) have to know who the alpha dog(s) in the household are…and that’s the parent(s).

The only leader(s) of the pack are the parents- they pay the bills, they feed, clothe and care for the kids (and pets), they have more worldly knowledge (for the most part); therefore, they run the house- their rules, their boundaries, their barriers.

All I can say is- the parents are NOT doing this kid a favour by allowing his toxic, unacceptable, beyond comprehension behaviour to continue and need to put this kid in his place…not for discipline reasons but for health reasons.

Curtis, at 7 already is a little pudge and if they continue to allow him to get his own way by being over-the-top disrespectful, he’ll be not only a mouthy little jerk but a fat one !

Brave but not the right choice.

Michael Lohan, Lindsay Lohan’s father sez he blames himself for her drug addiction and other problems.

Michael, whose been crusading to save his highly-troubled daughter sez his marriage split-up’s the reason why his daughter’s so screwed up.

Partially, yes- totally, no !

Lindsay’s a big girl- she’s 23 yet she continues to make headlines by being snapped and videotaped falling into a cactus bush, blaming the paparazzi.

The videotape clearly shows her falling on her own…after partying ’til 5am.

Mike and the Mechanics had a great tune, “The Living Years” where the lyrics say “Every generation blames the one before.”

How true !

When we reach adulthood, like Lindsay has, then it’s our responsibility NOT our parents or others who may have affected us in childhood to change our errant ways.

Blame’s such an easy cop-out…pointing fingers and not “owning it” is th perfect way to blame our unhappiness on others and until we become accountable for our own behaviour, nothing changes.

Lindsay’s queen of drama…queen of denial and she needs to get her s%&t together ASAP…her friends and family are worried sick about her.

Michael has to also shut the hell up and quit holding news conferences to announce his intentions to ‘save’ his daughter.

Wonder where she gets the drama queen from ?

He needs to be quiet and just be a good dad…maybe she’ll respond to him more favourably instead of making her life and his life public knowledge.

He wears his guilt like a priced medal…just shut up, man and be a father.

Lindsay loves to blame everyone else in her life…hey, maybe she’ll start saying…

“My father made me a lesbian”.

If we send her the wool, maybe he’ll make one for us, too !

Tomorrow (Saturday) night at 8:30pm (EST)’s Earth Hour which hopefully, 1 billion people around the world will shut off their lights for 1 hour b/t 8:30-9:30pm.

I think this is tres cool !

This’ll be the 4th time Earth Hour’s being held after starting in Australia in 2007.

It’s incredible to see historical landmarks dim their lights and go completely dark for 1 hour…the closest landmark to me is about 110 kms away in Toronto to the East and that’s the CN Tower.

The event, sponsored by the WWF’s mission’s to stop the degradation of the Earth’s natural environment and build a future where people live in harmony with nature.

So, for 1 hour, we all have to pry ourselves away from the computer…or the TV…turn on flashlights or light candles…or take the dog for an evening walk…just get back to the simple things in our lives.

If you have a fireplace, that’d be cool, too…or light a bonfire if you’re allowed.

Tons of things to do…just for an hour…hey, maybe even have sex by candlelight…or by flashlight…whatever works.

Me… I’ll take the dog for a walk earlier in the day… we have a fireplace by it’s electric and we can’t light a bonfire in the backyard…so…it all comes down to one thing.

Sex by candlelight !

Woohoo… thank goodness for Earth Hour…at least I know I’ll be getting lucky rhat one day of the year !

This really doesn’t surprise me at all !

Lady Gaga’s music videos have had more than 1 billion online hits, according to analyst Visible Measures, making her an exclusive member of the 100 Million Views Club with Poker Face (374m), Bad Romance (360m) and Just Dance (272m).

Analysts expect the hits to jump even more with her new video Telephone with Beyonce.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again…Gaga’s brilliant and she has the music game down so well, she actually is smart enough and in full control to manipulate the industry to her style, her brand and do basically WTF she wants to do.

Good on Gaga !

Not too many artists ever reach this plateau or level but she’s already there at the young age of 23.

American Idol had Miley Cyrus on this past week as a “mentor” to the contestants.

I’m quite sure alot of them thought…”Hmmm…I’m s’posed to take advice from a 17 yr old kid -WTF up with that ?!”

I get that she’s a superstar having come up thru the Disney tween/teen ranks of “Hannah Montana” but vocal-wise some of the Idol contestants like Crystal and Michael blow her out of the water and they’re not even on the world stage yet.

They should have had Gaga mentoring the Idol contestants…I know she’s busy on her European Monster Tour but if anyone can mentor, it’s Gaga !

My guess is she’ll be the 100 Million Views Club #1 star in no time.

Give it another 3-6 months and she’ll be the all-time Queen.

W0w- what a moving story !

16 yr old Sarah Phillips’ tribute to her 48-year-old dying mother, Debbie- a cover Paolo Nutini’s Autumn‘s been released as a single to raise money for cancer research.

Sarah recorded the song into her cell phone while alone in her bedroom 4 hours before her mother passed away.

Can you imagine- knowing your mom was dying…and at such a very young age (48)…and you record a song for her…talk about strength, courage and really singing from the soul !

This young lady certainly has my endless respect for gathering the fortitude to do such an incredibly wonderful thing for her mother before she passed.

Sarah’s one very special person to have been able to let go, let God and let her mom complete her journey-she’s lit the way for me and I hope she does for you.

And so her mom’s death wasn’t in vain, Sarah and her family have created a fund in memory of her to help others who need assistance.

It’s really getting tired.

Jesse James isn’t the only bad guy.

Yeah, he’s a knob for screwing around on Sandra Bullock, one of the hottest women in Hollywood and a funny actress at that but there’s the other bad guy..or girl- the mistress !

It takes 2 people to have an affair…or in Tiger Woods’ case… close to 20.

We’re starting to hear lots of out-of-the-woodwork stories about his mistress Michelle “Bombshell” McGee, the tattoo model whom her ex Shane Modica told The Insider she was “obsessed” with James.

Modica sez McGee was so crazy about James, she even changed their wedding pics by pasting a picture of him on top of his own.

WTF with that ?

She claims she didn’t know he was still married and thought he and Sandra were separated.

Seems to me she had an agenda…even more so now when she exposed the affair.

What is it with these women who come forward and admit they slept with someone else’s husband…have they no shame or pride…or any consideration of the impact on it has on totally destroying the man’s family ?

It brands them as homewreckers and whores…for what… 15 minutes of scrutiny and some tabloid interviews and pictures.

Never heard of any mistresses who got ahead (no pun intended) by coming out and staking claim on having slept with a high profile guy.

Monica Lewinsky slept with the most powerful man in the world and where the frig is she now ?

Some things are better left unsaid…let the universe unfold the way it’s s’posed to instead of it being forced to unfold by these women seeking fame and fortune by fessin’ up to having an affair with some dude whose just as pathetic as they are.

The only victims here are the wives and the kids…time to find another playground with no swings, or strings attached !
