WTF ! Is she nuts ?!

This is not a tiny, week-old kitten that gets carried around by the scruff of its neck by its mother…looks to me like a good 3 month old kitten, judging by the size and weight.

Kardashian defended herself by saying she was told it was O.K. to carry a kitten like this.

Maybe someone should carry her by the twins and see what it feels like.

I hope PETA slags her ass on this…as far as I’m concerned, if you whispered in her ear, you’d probably hear the ocean !

Kate Gosselin’s FINALLY been eliminated from ‘Dancing With the Stars‘ after an abrupt and tearful end Tuesday night.

Gotta admit… I’m surprised she made it this far after all these weeks.

I’m still trying to figure out WHY and HOW she remained on the show for so long… does America use the “SYMPATHY” vote or do they just wanna keep her on for the enjoyment ?

Aside from decades old Buzz Aldrin, Gosselin was by far the worst dancer I’ve evuh seen on DWTS.

Week after week, she just didn’t “get it”… no rhythm, no grace, no charm… she looked stiff, uncomfortable, awkward and so not close.

At least some of the others “got it” to a certain extent and improved each week…she seemed to barely move ahead each show…guess she just has no concept of dancing.

She tried…s’posed that’s all that matters.

Lots of stories of her stand-off-ish-diva-like attitude around the other competitors…didn’t socialize with them or mix too well… kinda like her marriage with ex-husband, Jon.

During Tuesday’s recap of the dances, judge Len Goodman said-“If that had been a movie, I’d have walked out of the theater.”

Me- I thought watching her every week was worth the price of admission !

Larry King’s 6 wives hold “conventions” to talk about him.

WTF is that ?!

The little ladies’ circle likes to gather and gossip and discuss the old guy’s shortcomings…hmmm…wonder what they could be ?

They met most recently to discuss his pending divorce with Shawn Southwick, his 7th wife.

His last wife, Julie said she doesn’t know whether Shawn will fit into the group. She’s the 1^st one to make it past 10 years.

I think this is downright pathetic 1

Who gives a rat’s ass about what it was like with Larry ?

I’d say the same thing if all of Elizabeth Taylor’s husbands (those who are still alive) did the old boys’ club and got together for a beer and an earful to talk about Liz and their failed marriages.

Obviously, Larry has some issues, probably the same ones with each wife that remain unresolved or he would have “gotten it” long ago and wouldn’t have married so many women.

Man… these women need to let go and move on with their lives cuz getting together and gossiping about their marriages with each other’s pretty dumbass to me and very clearly states none of them have forgotten and forgiven and moved ahead.

They’re all stuck in the same place by bitching and pissin’ and moanin’ ’bout Larry.

Guess hens of a feather stick together !

It was boring…plain boring.

Last night’s Junos in St. John, Newfoundland (buy) just didn’t do it for me… little sparkle…not much wow factor.

Sure, it’s the one event that’s s’posed to be Canada’s answer to the Grammies but it just fell flat for me.

Buble was good… Drake was O.K. …K’naan did a good job closing the show but other than Justin Bieber getting stroked all night, it was somewhat of a yawner for me.

Then again, I channel-flipped between the Junos and the Academy Country Music awards which was slightly better.

The performances were better, although I wasn’t impressed by some of the country singers who I thought sucked live.

Tim McGraw did nothing to spin my spurns…much sooner watch his drop-dead gorgeous wife, Faith Hill perform… not just cuz she’s so friggin’ beautiful but much more talented with a much better voice than her husband.

Most of the male performers didn’t knock me on my ass…Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum  were good, altho, Lady A sounded a little pitchy at times.

Overall… Johnny H’s vote goes to The ACM’s over the Junos.

Kinda embarrassing when the Canadian dollar’s above par today cuz it was far below par to the US last night !

Larry King’s in kak-kah.

Both he and 7th wife Shawn Southwick filed for divorce after 13 yrs., citing “irreconcilable differences” after she accused him of having an affair with her sister, Shannon Engemann.

Shawn apparently, claims he was showering Shannon with expensive gifts.

Wow- imagine Christmas dinner at the Southwicks !

Either she’s right and Larry’s been screwing around or she’s wrong and insecure.

If it’s true he’s been giving her expensive gifts, then my man’s stepped over the line.

Can’t do that… kinda inappropiate…and believe me, you don’t wanna piss off your wife cuz women and the green-eyed monster….better ask for a 1/2 mile head start.

Larry’s actually been married 8 times cuz he divorced Alene Aknis in 1962, remarried in 1967, and finally divorced again in 1972.

Getting married that many times’ crazy…ask Liz Taylor (whose not getting married again)

Obviously lots of unresolved issues when you go from one relationship to another cuz there’s always commonality in each one…just ask all his exes.

All I can say is good thing he makes alot of money cuz he also has 2 young kids with Shawn…you know what happens when couples split… 50-50′s not even a reality.

She gets the house- he gets the outside !

Is it just me or am I’m being too picky ?

I thought Ryan Seacrest’s 2 dumbass acts last night on American Idol really showed where his head’s at.

1) WTF with the dancing-with-a-dude-from-the-audience routine while Tim Urban was       singing ?

2) The stupid, lame dig at Brian Dunkelman when he was t-ing up who was hosting Idol Gives Back next Wednesday, then saying it was Queen Latifah at the other location-so not cool.

Dunkelman, if you recall was the tall, geeky-looking guy who took Seacrest’s abuse all during the very 1st season of Idol… it was then I decided I did not like this dude cuz I thought he was nasty, egotistical and a real knob.

Quite frankly, my opinion of him hasn’t changed.

The dig at Dunkelman was totally unprofessional and uncalled for and probably 99% of the audience thought …WTF ? …whose Dunkelman ?

Dancing with another man while a contestant’s fighting for his life in the final 9 to stay alive in the competition’s so distracting… like dude… it’s not about you…it’s about the final 9.

I just have the impression this year Seacrest seems angry, petty and jealous…he’s appears to be miffed the attention’s no longer on him… it’s on the contestants and the judges.

American Idol’s starting to falter…when Simon Cowell brings his killer UK show The X-Factor to North America, you’ll see alot of people jump ship cuz it’ll be fresh and more exciting than American Idol…gotta love the Brits and their ingenuity !

I won’t be surprised if American Idol is dropped in the next 2 years (tops) and wouldn’t be one bit surprised if Seacrest’s replaced.

He’s no longer the Golden Boy and it looks like he has a hard time getting his over-sized ego thru the stage door.

No one on that show’s irreplaceable any longer…Paula Abdul’s proven it…Ellen, God love her’s doing an awesome job but even when Simon leaves, they’ll fill the void with someone like Elton John or another edgy Brit who’ll quickly become loved and embraced by America.

Ryan Seacrest needs to step back and refocus on what the show’s about… it’s about young Americans fighting for their dreams on stage in front of millions of people…not about someone whose so insecure he has to belittle others and try to steal their thunder.

Just like Quincy Jones once said- “leave your egos at the door” …Seacrest, out !

Our pancreas is affected by diabetes – specifically, Type 2. Our body contains glucose found in the blood stream, which it gets from the sugar in food.

Our body uses the glucose, but only when it goes into our blood cells and the insulin released by our pancreas converts it.

Insulin production and utilization is difficult for someone who lives with Type 2 diabetes. There is a lot of glucose in the body, but your cells cannot locate them.

The American Diabetes Association has become very important when it comes to gathering critical information about this medical condition.

With approximately 23.6 million citizens living with diabetes, America is an extremely unhealthy country. Over 90% of all patients with diabetes have Type 2. Most diabetics tend to be overweight and have relatives with the same condition.

Too much glucose can cause serious, irreparable damage to internal organs and to the overall nervous system.

Diabetes and Your Life

If you have Type 2 diabetes, you need to live in a healthy manner. Living healthy and engaging in healthy practices will affect you tremendously. Two common examples of healthy routines include exercising and consuming healthy foods.

Making sure that your glucose levels stay in the recommended range translates into being able to avoid complications in your health. A finger prick test is a common and reliable way to monitor your body’s blood glucose levels.

This test, according to physicians, is sufficient enough for glucose monitoring like the HbA1c test. The amount of glycated hemoglobin in your blood is determined by this HbA1c test, aside from it alerting you if you reach a high glucose level.

Results of these A1c tests show that people with diabetes are at a 7% level. The CDC reports that if one maintains their a1c levels at 7%, they could reduce the possibility of risks as high up as 40%

Too Much Control

Recently, there have been medical studies that seem to indicate that maintaining A1c levels below 7% may be a bad idea after all. One of these studies, conducted at the Lancet and Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, has found that people who have median levels may be at a far greater risk of death, especially for those taking insulin.

However, other tests have indicated that A1c levels of 7% is still perfectly healthy. Matt Davies, An accredited Endocrinologist, has stated that maintaining a 7% A1c level is healthy according to recent studies, but that physicians should always take the individual patient’s history into account prior to planning treatment.

Guess it just wasn’t his time…

Tiger Woods finished tied for 4th, 3 shots off the pace as Phil Mickelsen won his 3rd Masters and Green Jacket Sunday after shooting a final round 67 for a 272 total and -16 score.

Mickelson joins 4 other players, including Sir Nick Faldo, who’ve won 3 Green Jackets. Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Tiger Woods are the only others to have won more.

Woods admitted to making some mistakes in his 1^st tournament since his sex scandal broke in November but despite playing an excellent tournament, he still couldn’t have been totally in his skin.”

Look at the controversy that’s surrounded him since The American Thanksgiving when all hell broke loose.

What this means is he’s just not ready…yet…maybe it’ll take the next tournament or the next or even later but until he cleanses his entire soul, mind and body of the bad chi that’s plagued him, he just won’t be “there.”

The great part about “Lefty’s” big win’s the fact he, himself, has had a tremendously tough an emotional year.

Both women who are closest to him in his life-his wife and mother were diagnosed with breast cancer in the last year.

His wife was quite ill over the weekend but had enough strength and savvy to be on hand to watch her husband win the tournament.

What a sweet ending for a sweet couple…life doesn’t get any better than that !

Did I hear right ?!

I’m shocked but it doesn’t surprise me.

The big buzz these days’ 17 yr. old Miley Cyrus’ planning to marry 20 yr. old ‘The Last Song’ co-star-Aussie boyfriend Liam Hemsworth once she turns 18 in November.

18- WTF !

Our youngest child, my just-turned-19 yr. old daughter, Rachael’s like a little more than a yr. older than her and there’s no friggin’ way we’d be happy about her getting married this young.

Maybe Miley’s had too much Disney world blown up her ass but this girl really needs to give her head a shake.

Yeah, she’s in love for the 1st time and it probably feels awesome for her but she’s still a friggin’ child and hasn’t seen enuff in life to even justify getting married while still a teenager !

She’s obviously grown up much quicker than girls her age cuz of her showbiz lifestyle but 17′s 17 and 18′s 18 no matter how you cut it.

I truly feel kids today are far too young to get married even in their 20′s…they’re just not as worldly or as mature as we were back in the day when  our generation got married in our early to mid-20′s.

Today- I think it’s best not to get married until at least 30 or more when both man and woman are more established in their careers and goals and usually have more money at this age, let alone life lessons.

It must be a phase she’s going thru… she’s also bought her 1st home (a $4.3 million estate) and is busy redecorating it so she can move into it in November…when she’s 18.

Must be this “I’m a teen-declaration of independence thing”…mind you, she’s way ahead of everyone else cuz very few kids her age are millionaires…let alone people our age !

I kinda had the feeling when her parents let her pose in those skanky ads that this kid was growing up far too fast and now it’s really starting to show.

Miley needs to give the marriage thing another 10 years… live your life…have some fun without being committed to someone else…so frigging’ young.

Life changes in the blink of an eye and if her parents are none the wiser, they’ll talk her out of such foolishness.

She’ll be of legal age in November when she can do what she wants without parental consent but her mom and dad can still try to talk some sense into her adolescent mind.

November…still 7 months away…that’s another Hollywood marriage away !

Glad I had a change of pants last night !

My wife & I, like everyone else (especially Big Mike) were absolutely stunned when Michael Lynche had the lowest score of the week and faced elimination from American Idol !!!

The judges “saved” him with the only “save” of the season which means he returns to the Top 9 next week and has a chance at winning the competition.

I knew Simon, Kara, Randy and Ellen would vote to save him…and they did unanimously.

Big Mike’s ‘weak” moment when he performed “Eleanor Rigby” on Tuesday night almost cost him the competition cuz it was really not the right choice for him.

Simon’s been dead on every week when he stresses song choices being crucial …even more so every passing week.

Probably the most surprising thing besides Big Mike having the lowest score is the fact that Andrew Garcia and Aaron Kelly survived cuz neither one of them comes close to Big Mike’s talent.

The final weeks of this competition will be interesting from here on in cuz the message that was sent big time Wednesday night’s that everyone’s no longer safe.

I’m sticking to my guns though- I’m still predicting Crystal Bowersox will win- this girl’s good and she got game !
