Gotta admit this is true… at least in Johnny H’s books.

In today’s harada-data, a recent survey says men are better shoppers than women.

Some of the stats…

* Although women go shopping more often, they’re more likely to return home – empty-handed.

* Men spend less time in the shops, adopting a SAS-style “in and out, no messing about” approach, and most of the time get what they are after.

* Women spend almost 7 hours a month shopping, men- just 5.

I, like all other dudes, only shop when I know exactly what I’m looking for.

Frankly, I hate shopping unless I know what the hunt’s about.

When I’ve gone shopping with my 18 year old daughter and/or other females, it’s always been painful “browsing” and “checking things out”.

Must be a guy thing despising being dragged around a mall for hours on end while your other half searches high and low to find what they’re looking for.

I usually only shop with a list and I may “browse” if I’m price-shopping… I tend to only buy when items are on sale…same with grocery shopping unless they’re items I absolutely can’t live without (like toilet paper)

The line-ups at check-out counters drive me crazy…that’s why I always try to shop during the insane Christmas season in less-than-peak hours…like never on weekends or Thursday nights.

I can safely assume that most men shop as little as they can…as least often as they can (unless they have a “honey do” list)… probably explains why we only have 2 pair of jeans and rat-torn underwear.
