Awww…it’s Hallowe’en. Sugar rush time…such a fun night for kids…and parents cuz they get to sneak into their kids’ bags when they’re sleeping and steal those awesome little chocolate bars.
I remember back in the day when I was a little hell-raising ADHD kid of boundless energy and mischievous deeds how stoked I’d be for Hallowe’en.
We never did any of that dumbass prankster stuff…we were too interested in seeing how much candy we could stuff into our pillow cases in a stretch of 2 1/2 to 3 hours of banging on people’s doors and watching to see if they were generous or cheap when they dished out the goodies.
Actually, I probably enjoyed Hallowe’en more taking my kids out when they were small- they were always cute in their costumes and very polite when receiving their goodies. The fun part was counting and sorting the candy afterwards and getting them to share their treats with you.
If you’ve never tried it…chocolate’s best when it’s frozen…put those babies inside the freezer and enjoy them with a hot cup of tea…awesome feeling the chocolate melt in your mouth…or munching them stiff as a rock.
Hallowe’en- awesome day of the year and fun to dress up, too.
BTW- Forgot to mention to you…this year, I’m putting peanut butter around my mouth and I’m going out as Kanye West !
